Here a few pictures of Justine’s Brasserie this afternoon, during France’s second game at Fifa’s World Cup.
I was too busy watching France’s and USA’s games against Honduras and Ghana at the World Cup in Brazil +reading about French Spurs players’ role in San Antonio’s new NBA champion title those past two days to post pictures of the French and francophiles watching the game at Honduran restaurant in Austin Las Hamacas, but here’s a glimpse of the nice crowd that gathered for the occasion.
France and the US don’t belong to the same groups in 2014 FIFA World Cup.
So supporting the French team on top of the US one shouldn’t be a problem.
I just updated French In Austin’s calendar for the month of June and invite you to check it out!
With the usual pétanque games, apéritifs, French students outings, cooking classes at Central Market North Lamar (plenty of them!), but also French opera, D-Day 70th anniversary, French chamber music, a Matisse exhibit opening in San Antonio, the soccer World Cup and a scheduled launching meeting for Austin’s French-American Business Council, June is Frencher than ever in Austin!
