Back into networking mode in October, but first: French Legation 175th kickoff!

Before French humorist Gad Elmaleh gives a show in English at The North Door on November 7, October will be the month to resume networking with French speaking and francophile professionnals. Beyond next InterFrench networking session on Monday at Departure Lounge, a delegation of French startups from Montpellier will be visiting Austin next week for Austin Startup Week. Send an email to Ludovic[dot]Charbonnel[at]ServicesYou[dot]com if you’d like to get an invitation to the events planned at Capital Factory on Tuesday and Tech Ranch on Wednesday.

But before getting in networking mode, let’s not miss the French Legation Texas French Market on Saturday, from 9 am to 4 pm. The event will kickoff the museum’s 175th anniversary.

And it might be interesting to note that French immersion school Jean-Jacques Rousseau proposes to entertain your children while you have fun tonight. Check their MeetUp. French speaking and francophile MeetUp groups like this one or the Austin French Circle keep being very active in Austin, just like the French in Austin group on Facebook!

And then on Sunday, the Heart of Texas pétanque club that just inaugurated new courts in Cedar Park has an Open Triplette Tournament.

So, as usual, October will be packed with French speaking and francophile events. This was just a list of what to expect during the next few days. I invite you to check the other events at FrenchInAustin.com/calendar and look forward to see you at one or another of those events!
