March was so full of fun events that I have tons of work to catch up with, and not much time to write this month, so I invite you to check French in Austin’s calendar for the full list of events and details about them. (I will update it throughout the month.)
But here’s the teaser:
In April, in Austin, there will be French mafiosis from the 70s at the Marchesa Theater, as part of the Austin Film Society’s 70s French Noir series, running until Paril the 19th.
There will be frenzied pétanque games during the Heart of Texas pétanque club’s tournament extravaganza on April the 17th and 18th.
And before we hit the end of school year season with the French-curriculum Austin International School’s Wine the World Boat Cruise on May 1st,
French education organizations’ calendar keeps busy with Jean-Jacques Rousseau French immersion school’s screening of a documentary on kids’ passion for education in disadvantaged regions of the world on April the 12th,
French after-school Education Française Austin’s Fun Run on April the 19th,
and another meeting of the Austin French public school project on April the 25th.
And that’s without mentionning the release of French movie 3 hearts this weekend at the Arbor 8,
the monthly InterFrench networking event,
the show by French-led band Hooka Hey on April the 10th at The Gatsby,
Till our very own French Friday (at Tous les Jours bakery; join the French In Austin Facebook group in order to see it), and this newsletter’s sponsor Café Crème‘s next French movie night on April the 24th.
It’s francophonie’s month every month in Austin!
